She is the founder and owner of CapeSpace, a flexible office space in Hyannis,
Massachusetts, on Cape Cod, where she is one of the pioneers of flexible office in
suburban/resort locations. She holds an MBA from Simmons College, is a (non-
current) CMA (Certified Management Accountant), is the founder of AWARE, the
Association of Women Accountants in Real Estate, and sits on the boards of the
Workspace Association of New York and the Cape Cod Technology Council.
Robbin has also served on the faculty of NYU’s Schack Real Estate Institute where
she taught courses in real estate financial analysis and real estate development
She lives in East Sandwich, Massachusetts with her husband, Michael
Orbison, a general business and commercial real estate transaction attorney.
Mathieu and Robbin met at Silverstein Properties where their roles included acting
as lead implementation team members for the launch of Silverstein’s shared
workspace business, which operates under the brand Silver Suites. Silver Suites
operates 70,000 square feet of high end executive suites at the World Trade Center
in Lower Manhattan. They have both since left Silverstein to pursue ventures of
their own in the flexible office sphere, including Orbison & Schepard.
